Non-Profit BDSM Organizations

The Leather Archives & Museum (LA&M) is dedicated to preserving a record of leather lives past and present. Journals, posters, publications, run pins, the colors of clubs and newsletters of organizations are all much wanted. Operating capital and contributions are needed. When you are in Chicago, you can visit LA&M at 5015 N. Clark. It is open to the public every Saturday from 4pm to Midnight and by appointment to researchers. Info: 773-275-1570.
NCSF (National Coalition for Sexual Freedom) is committed to creating a political, legal and social environment in the US that advances equal rights for consenting adults who engage in alternative sexual and relationship expressions. The NCSF aims to advance the rights of, and advocate for consenting adults in the BDSM-Leather-Fetish, Swing, and Polyamory Communities. NCSF pursues this vision through direct services, education, advocacy, and outreach, in conjunction with our partners, to directly benefit these communities.It is concentrating on issues like sodomy, job discrimination, child custody and censorship. Kink Aware Professionals (KAP)Originally created by Guy Baldwin and Race Bannon, the Kink Aware Professionals list is now a project of NCSF. Kink Aware Professionals (KAP) is a service offered by NCSF dedicated to providing the community with referrals to psychotherapeutic, medical, legal and other professionals who are knowledgeable about and sensitive to diverse expressions of sexuality.
Leather Pride Night is an annual party and charity auction that raises money for NY/NJ area organizations.  New York’s entire leather and fetish community works all year to produce the event. Proceeds go to five organizations which are designated yearly. Leather Pride Night is sponsored by ten NYC S/m-leather- fetish organizations: Gay Male S/M Activists, Imperial Court of NY, Iron Guard BC, Lesbian Sex Mafia, MAsT Metro NY, MetroBears NY, New York boys of Leather (NYboL), Pariah MC, The Eulenspiegel Society and ONYX NY and many committed individuals.
