LSM Presents: Breathwork – Slowing Down & Clearing Out with Liz

Breathwork generally refers to any type of breathing exercises or techniques. A powerful, low technology form of self-healing, breathwork connects us to our bodies, moves stuck energy and emotions and opens our hearts. It also helps us plug into our intuition, embodied wisdom, memory, and creativity. During breathwork, you intentionally change your breathing pattern. There are many forms of breathwork therapy that involve breathing in a conscious and systematic way. In our hour we will cover (breathing techniques), meditation, and guided relaxation.

3-Breath Inhalation Upper Chest Release (Cleansing and Relaxing Breath): This technique stimulates oxygen flow, cleanses, clears, and soothes your mind and your body.

Mindfulness via Grounding: Grounding “anchors” you to the present and to reality. Grounding techniques focus on re-balancing via mental, physical, and soothing thought & breath exercises.

Body Tension Visualizations & Releases: Guided breath & imagery to release & remove tension
