So much of sex ed is about the How. But Tina Horn has always been preoccupied with the Why?! Come enjoy a live lightning round version of Tina’s popular podcast Why Are People Into That?! For the curious newbie to BDSM, we’ll explain some popular fantasies and interests. For the seasoned scenester, this class may shed some new light on everything you thought you knew about kink! No matter what your experience level, you’re sure to be entertained by this funny and thought-provoking class!
Some topics we will discuss: fisting, pegging, genitorture, role play, leather, latex, feet, boots, electricity, public sex…

Presenter Bio:
Tina Horn is a writer, teacher, media-maker, queer punk, and true karaoke believer. She produces and hosts the kinky slut podcast Why Are People Into That?!. She is the author of two books — a collection of nonfiction stories about sex workers called Love Not Given Lightly, and a guide to the ethics and etiquette of modern relationship communication called Sexting.Her writing has also appeared on Refinery 29, Jezebel, Vice, the Toast, the Rumpus, the Slutist, and the Establishment, and in the anthologies Girl Sex 101, Best Sex Writing 2015, and Unshaven.

Tina’s workshops on dirty talk, sex worker self care, and spanking have been featured at International Ms Leather, the Woodhull Sexual Freedom Summit, the Pleasure Chest, Kink.com, Lesbian Sex Mafia, the New School, and the Feminist Porn Conference. She is a LAMBDA Literary Fellow, the recipient of two Feminist Porn Awards, and holds an MFA in Creative Nonfiction Writing from Sarah Lawrence.
