This month to celebrate Women’s History Month, LSM is creating a Memory Circle to record and capture our history. If you are a past member and can join we welcome and encourage your attendance. Or if you are in NYC or a nearby neighbor we hope you can join us to document history. If you cannot join, but want to share anecdote or document your LSM history as a past member or attendee please contact me.
Celebrate women’s history month with the women of LSM as we create an LSM Herstory Memory Circle. Lesbian Sex Mafia was born in a time where women meeting to engage in BDSM was shrouded in secrecy. LSM was an important part of the budding NYC Underground BDSM Scene and this year LSM celebrates 35 years as the longest running women’s and trans BDSM group… Have we got stories to tell!

Memory Circle honored panelists:
–Mistress Mir Considered royalty by those who know & love her. She is The First Lady of Dominance. Featured in over 150 magazines and two films. 35+ years exploring the world of BDSM. Host of infamous meeting & play parties in the early years of LSM!
–Leah Strock a member of LSM since 1982 when LSM was a big secret and fraught with challenges and fear. Leah, upon seeing the LSM contingent marching in Gay Pride, literally chased after them to find out how to join.
–Liz G. Joined the Mafia in 1986, past and present volunteer on several committees & Board, LSM Presenter, and author/contributor in The Second Coming, and quite possibly a radical feminist
–Andrea Sears Former President of Sirens MC and 20 years as a bona fide NYC kinky queer. She joined the Mafia in 2001, part of the “LSM Live or Die” and L-Committee 2006, served on Communications Committee and as Party Captain, and creator of the classic “Lesbian Sex Mafia ~ So Sexy it Hurts!” t-shirts.
