Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue, NYC)

CineKink Season Opener!
S&M SALLY
Directed by Michelle Ehlen, 2015, USA, 79 minutes. NYC premiere.
In this raucous comedy, when a lesbian finds out her girlfriend has spent time exploring BDSM, her insecurities about falling behind in the bedroom push her to propose that they start going to underground clubs together. Identifying as the butch one in a traditional butch/femme couple, Jamie, aka the pseudonymous “Sally,” assumes she will take the dominant role in their escapades, with Jill as her submissive, but Jill has ideas of her own. Meanwhile, friends David and Lola compete to see who’s cool enough to go through with a polyamorous, bisexual threesome. (Stars Michelle Ehlen, Jen McPherson, Shaela Cook, Scott Keiji Takeda and Adrian Gonzalez.)

ABOUT CINEKINK NYC:
Billing itself as “the kinky film festival,” CineKink NYC returns for its 13th annual appearance March 1-6, 2016. The festivities begin Tuesday, March 1, at 8 PM, with a fundraising kick-off extravaganza to be held at Taj (48 W. 21st Street, NYC), a pansexual celebration that, in addition to music and sexy performances, offers several cinematic gems up on the screen. The festival then moves to Anthology Film Archives (32 Second Avenue, NYC) from Wednesday, March 2 through Saturday, March 5, with several different film and video programs scheduled for each day. An awards celebration and an AfterGlow play party, both to be held at Bowery Bliss, complete the festival’s run on Sunday, March 6.
